Guangdong Spike pool table source manufacturers are committed to research and development, design of billiard tables and billiard equipment, Chinese eight ball billiard table styles to support customization, the next to introduce the rules of Chinese eight ball teaching:
Chinese eight ball is a kind of billiard game with a broad mass base, Chinese eight ball using a standard billiard table, the table has a white mother ball and 15 colored target ball. The target balls 1 to 7 are monochrome balls, 8 are black balls, and 9 to 15 are fancy colored balls.
I. Kick-off
The right to kick off the first game is determined by both teams hitting two balls of the same size to the bottom edge at the same time behind the teeing off line, which touch the bottom edge and bounce back to rest. The team whose ball is closer to the top edge wins the right to kick off.
If the ball is not hit to the bottom edge or in the pocket, it is a foul and the opposing team is awarded the right to tee off.
After the tee shot, any one of the target balls must be in the pocket or at least four of the target balls must touch the edge of the table. If the ball is in the pocket or out of the table after the tee-off, the opponent gets a free ball behind the line; if the target ball is in the pocket after the tee-off, but less than four balls touch the table edge, the opponent gets a free ball, and he/she can place any ball behind the tee-off line to hit the ball
Determine the color of the ball
If a ball is in the bag after the tee shot, regardless of the number, color or sequence, the player continues to hit the ball and has the right to choose the type of ball.
If the ball of his choice is not in the bag, the game is still open and the opponent may continue to choose the type of ball; if the ball of his choice is in the bag, but accompanied by the main ball in the bag, or the main ball, the target ball out of the foul, etc., the game is still open and the opponent has the right to hit the ball freely.
When the game is open, a player may indirectly pocket a ball of a different color with a ball of a different color or pocket another target ball with the 8-ball without committing a foul, but the goal does not close the game to the opposing team.
Striking the Ball
Each time a player hits a ball without specifying whether it is in the pocket or at the mouth of the pocket and without committing a foul during the entire stroke, the player’s target ball is in the pocket and the player has the right to continue to hit the ball.
If the opponent’s target ball is in the pocket at the same time, the opponent’s target ball will no longer be taken out; if only the opponent’s target ball is in the pocket, there is no foul, and the opponent will hit the ball.
After the ball is hit by either player, the first ball touched by the main ball must be the target ball of the player’s side (after all the target balls of the player’s side have been pocketed, the No. 8 ball is the target ball of the player’s side).
Fouls
The following situations are considered fouls:
The mother ball is struck by a ball other than the target ball.
The ball is struck with both feet off the ground.
Striking the ball before it has stopped.
The club head touches the ball twice or more during the stroke.
Touching any ball on the table with body, clothes, club, etc. during the stroke.
Hitting the ball off the table.
Intentional foul (Malicious fouls will be penalized more severely).
V. Free Throw
After a foul has been committed by one player, the opponent may place the home ball anywhere on the table and begin to hit the ball.
A behind-the-line free throw means that when the teeing team commits a foul, the team awarded the free throw may only place the home ball anywhere behind the teeing line, and may only hit any target ball between the teeing line and the top edge of the table.
VI. Loss of Game
A player who fails to pocket all of his team’s target balls pockets the 8-ball first.
When the 8-ball is scored, the home ball is pocketed at the same time.
When hitting the 8-ball, the home ball is knocked off the table.
Committing any other foul when hitting the 8-ball.
The rules of Chinese 8-ball are relatively complicated and need to be familiarized with and mastered during practice. We hope that this lesson will help you to enjoy Chinese Eight Ball better.
